It should go without saying what’s appropriate or acceptable for grown men and women to do in a bathroom. I find myself slightly fascinated by the kinds of things I see and find when I’m in a washroom.
I’ve heard people talk about how turning 30 was a life changing event all my life. Turning 30 seems, for no reason in particular, seems to be the magic age when a person crosses the threshold into serious adulthood and the last ounce of youth left in you slips away.
I am not religious. That’s right, I said it. I don’t identify myself as religious, however I am definitely not Atheist either.
So what does that mean?
When someone asks me what my beliefs are, it’s not easy to answer. I don’t say, “I’m (fill in the blank)” and them just understand what that means. I have to literally explain what I believe. I’m often left feeling like I just made something up on the spot after I’m done explaining. It feels as though I need to be part of an organized religion for my beliefs to be taken seriously.
Unfortunately, breastfeeding in public is still a sore spot for people. Many people don’t give a second thought to the sight of a woman breastfeeding her baby. Some people take particular notice, but still don’t have an issue with it. Others, however, are strongly opinionated that in public, whether using a cover or not, is no place for a mom to breastfeed her baby.
